We Probably Should Have Our Own Show on the Food Network

Yeah, we're that good. Tonight we barbequed on our new grill and it was SO GOOD!!! I made an awesome teriyaki marinade for our chicken earlier in the day and then we made kabobs with pineapple, zucchini, mushrooms, and green peppers. We each made our own skewers and then Adam cooked them while I threw some rice in the rice cooker and got everything somewhat cleaned up. Oh man, the chicken was so moist and delicious! We ate outside and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. The only thing I don't like about eating outside is that the food cools down much faster and I really like my food HOT. It didn't matter though because our kabobs rocked!

After dinner, I unloaded then reloaded the dishwasher while Adam helped rinse the dishes then cleaned up the grill. And, to make the night even better, we went on a walk! I LOVE walks, but Adam's never been so big on them, but now that we live in an actual neighborhood he is much more willing. We even tried to be neighborly and introduce ourselves to the people who live next to us, but they weren't home.

Tomorrow we are going to our new ward for the first time. I'm excited about it. We missed last week because I slept in (hmm... imagine that, me sleeping in, weird). It starts at 9:00 which is always a challenge for me, but it's also good to get up early and then be home right after 12:00.

Well, I better go make sure I can find something to wear to church!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads and dads-to-be tomorrow!

  • Happy Father's Day Adam!

I like 9:00 church because you can hve a nap in the afternoon and not feel like you've lost the entire day.
